About the Site
|

The main objectives of the website are:
- To support the use of data for evidence-based planning, programming, and policy making around HIV/AIDS and infrastructure issues in the GMS in particular and in the Asia-Pacific region in general;
- To serve as an efficient means to disseminate information on good practices, knowledge products, and other resources to stakeholders and to the general public; and
- To bring together various communities of practice (e.g. infrastructure, transportation, health, and social development sectors) that have pivotal roles in strengthening inter-agency and multi-sectoral collaboration around HIV/AIDS prevention in the infrastructure sectors.
The website has been jointly developed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), under the ADB technical assistance project (RETA 6321): Fighting HIV/AIDS in Asia and the Pacific, Subproject 3: HIV Prevention and the Infrastructure Sector in the Greater Mekong Subregion. The website is managed by the Social Sectors Division of the Southeast Asia Department (SESS/SERD) at ADB.
